I had the opportunity to try this new tequila that will be out later this month. Wow, I have tasted many tequila brands but this tequila was so smooth I ended up drinking most of the bottle. This is an ultra premium tequila that is very drinkable and hang-over free, no impurities and made from 100% Agave. They said they will be out with a reposado and añejo soon as both are in barrels right now.
Hermosa means Beautiful is spanish, named after the block of Agaves- when you look out at the field one word comes to mind, Hermosa.
Casamigos Blanco Tequila Co-Owned by actor George Clooney and nightlife impresario Rande Gerber, this blanco is smooth and light. The aromas are restrained, but on the palate look for mild agave sweetness backed by lemon zest, ginger and white pepper sparks, plus a candied lemon-peel note on the gentle exit. 92 points$39.99 from Hi Time Wine.

ROCA PATRÓN SILVER, this tequila really did surprise me, I did a taste test against a handful of other silver tequila brands including the regular PATRÓN SILVER and ROCA PATRÓN came out on top not just with me but with two friends that were doing the blind tasting with me.
So here we have it, ROCA PATRÓN is a handcrafted 100% de agave tequila. After doing a bit of research I found out that this version of PATRÓN uses the finest weber blue agave that this company has available. Their finest agave is all used on the ROCA brand. They slow roast their Weber Blue Agave and then crush it with a two ton tahona stone wheel, the original/traditional way to crush agave. The juice is then fermented and distilled with the agave fibers. All this adds to a very complex taste with earthy tones and a long smooth finish. I highly recommend the ROCA PATRÓN SILVER, another sign is when it’s the first empty bottle on the table. I found a great price online if you want to order bottle Liquorama liquor store has a great price.
