Nude Beach In Los Angeles, California

Walking down the Venice Boardwalk I noticed bikinis hung on a clothesline, the first thing that came to my mind was nude beach, as that is what you see at a nude beach. I soon realized that they were a new line of bikinis for sale from, Iwalani Designs. Iwalani Designs was created to adventure into the unknown and creatively innovate the future of fashion. The company it self was founded by CEO Gabi Iwalani Hall in hopes to display her passion for design in multiple fields. Associated with Iwalani Designs is Sparkle a collection which included swimwear, intimates, and soon to be womens daily wear fashion. Our Sparkle Swimwear is unique because of our reversible Brazilian cut bottoms and beloved reversible 808 tops. This Sparkly collection is so refreshing and fun we just cant get enough. Being in a Sparkle bikini should make you feel sexy and free to shine bright. The inspiration behind the line evolved from the love of Sparkles and freedom of expression. Each print is paired with a solid contrast color that accents the printed side. Having the luxury of a reversible bikini not only maximizes color options but also adds variety to the ordinary. Gabi can be found on Saturdays and Sundays down at Venice beach selling these hot bikinis as she models one herself, head down to visit her and let her know you read about her at the Secret Blogger.

Also a new Intimates collection consists of bralletes, garters, and sexy little panties. They have incorporated lace and mesh to create a sexy chic look for all occasions. They encourage rocking the intimates not only as undergarments but in every day where as well. Vi

Samuel Adams Utopias Review

American Strong Ale or Barleywine what is Utopias? It is an extraordinary brew that is the result of complex and carefully timed brewing, it is a blend of batches, some having been aged more than 20 years in a variety of woods. The Utopias 2013 was aged in casks from Buffalo Trace Distillery and eight-year-old Port barrels from Portugal. Then blended with a touch of Kosmic Mother Funk (KMF), a Belgian-style ale barrel-aged for at least nine months (and up to two years) in Hungarian oak tuns, that is some information I found on it, now for my opinion.

This beer is un-carbonated and high in ABV, so you can open it and drink it over time, it will just get better with age (don’t store this bottle in the refrigerator a cool dark place is fine). I was told serve at room temperature (about 69 degrees Fahrenheit).

Jim Koch from Samuel Adams says that 2013 Utopias is Limited so don’t pour it like a beer pour small 2 ounce pours in smaller glasses a little goes a long way.

Proof 54 or 27% ABV

Visual – if you swirl it in a glass you see legs, very long legs, color is mahogany/reddish

Aroma – Earthy

Taste – Dark fruits, molasses, sherry like, prunes, berry, cherry, plums, orange, candy, maple, barley, caramel, butterscotch with a very dry finish on the end like an aged Sherry. It is like a liqueur as it warms you, no burn, consistency is thick it covers your mouth.

If you can find it, buy it and drink it, personally think it is worth the price. But good luck finding it, less than 15,000 bottles were brewed. And thirteen states prohibit its sale because its alcohol content exceeds the legal limit for beer, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont and Washington. I live in California I went to many stores to track it down and K&L Wine in Hollywood was out of it yet they were the ones that helped me find a store that had it, thank you K&L for all your help. I did pay $299.99, I know it is a lot yet it was their last bottle and if they had another one I would buy it tomorrow.

Bummer & Lazarus Gin Review

My new favorite gin, super smooth, Bummer & Lazarus Gin! Master distiller Carter Raff created his own stills for his proprietary San Francisco distillery situated on Treasure Island. Raff has 24 years of winemaking and 14 years of distilling, now the creator of Bummer & Lazarus Gin. It is a 92-proof, gin that uses 100 percent California grapes at its base. The gin was named after two fabled canine celebrities from San Francisco’s historical past (when Lazarus died, 30,000 attended the funeral, when Bummer died, Mark Twain wrote the eulogy). The gin boasts a well-balanced flavorful profile with hints of citrus and floral notes as well as a long spicy finish. This award winning gin has won a Gold Medal at the 2013 Craft Spirits Competition and named one of the top 50 spirits by Drink Me Magazine. It makes a great gin and tonic yet I tend to drink more of it on the rocks with a lemon twist, either way I am sure you will enjoy it, cheers!

If your admiring a decanter more than likely it was made at WADE Ceramics LTD. Wade’s heritage unites the best of British workmanship with contemporary and innovative style shown in our premium quality products.

Edward Duke, Chairman, and Paul Farmer, Managing Director, are the strategic leaders of the Wade team and their philosophy is that people are key to a thriving business and the clay that holds Wade together. Attention to the well-being of our staff, training and effective communication are vital to a happy environment and the continued success of Wade.

Wade use the skills of an experienced team to select the best ceramic processes and materials to ensure we always meet the requirements of our customers. We employ a number of traditional processes such as slip casting, plastic clay pressing and extrusion as well as pressure casting techniques to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality replication of products. We use glaze, underglaze/enamel colour and print to decorate and finish the pieces.

State-Of-The-Art Factory Machinery, our vision of a new factory equipped with the most advanced, fully automated plant and machinery for ceramic hollowware production came to fruition in 2010 when it was officially opened by the Duke of Kent. We work hard to constantly keep abreast of developments and invest in proven technology to stay ahead of competitors.

Wade is conscious of its environmental responsibilities and strives to improve green credentials by utilising waste heat from kilns to dry out products. Waste water is recycled through an effluent treatment plant, reused to clean machinery. Excess clay is salvaged and any broken product, biscuit or glaze is ground to dust by a local manufacturer to be remade into tiles. For more info visit www.wade.co.uk

Santoyo Grand Leyenda Añejo Tequila Review

Santoyo Grand Leyenda Añejo Tequila is a great sipping tequila yet I was tempted to make a margarita and it was one of the best ever.

The Family Añejo embodies the full expression of the Santoyo values, traditions, and centuries of heritage, which have gone into the making of this tequila. Prepared only in small batches with the utmost care this tequila is aged for at least 2 years, achieving the classification of “Añejo.” It’s deep copper hues enthrall the eye, while the nose is pleasured by notes of caramel, almond and vanilla. On the palette, you find mild citrus opening notes leading in to butterscotch caramel and vanilla finishing. So smooth, sweet and it is organic. If you like these tasting notes visit Tequila of the Month each month as new tequila is featured.

View Tainer The Perfect Container

VIEWTAINER, it truly is the perfect container.

You can see into it, so no more wondering what you put in there. Use one hand, squeeze it and the top opens to put items inside, or squeeze it to empty contents. I am addicted to VIEWTAINER, I use VIEWTAINER to organize things at work, in my garage, all over the house and I use one for change in my car. There are thousands of uses for VIEWTAINER and it’s made in the U.S.A. Finally, I am organized!

Sizes and colors, I would love to list them but there are too many to list, plus they have specialty sizes so this blog would be too long, go to their website www.viewtainer.com to see more.

Finally The Perfect Container!

StoreVino Wine Rack Review

I have/drink a lot of wine, not a day goes by that I don’t buy a bottle, receive bottle or take a bottle to a dinner or party. STOREVINO Nero is my new best friend. This simple solution, keeps all my wine organized in one place and I can add to it as my wine collection grows.

STORVINO Nero was described to me as legos for adults. A wine storage solution that can be put anywhere, under your kitchen counter, in a closet, garage or stacked in a room. Each plastic crate holds six bottles, it can be put upright for transferring bottles or on it’s side and stacked. You can stack them 10 high and as wide as you want. To stabilize each one is connected to another using a wine cork (photo below). Made in the USA using 100% recycled material. The size 10.25” H x 11.75” W x 8” D and weights 2.6 lbs. and the cost is around $20 each. For transporting wine the handles on either side make it easy.

The STOREVINO Nero modular system is so clever I keep asking myself why didn’t I think of that!

4th Of July Freedom

My favorite holiday is the 4th Of July. Freedom to do what ever you want, it’s a federal holiday so most people don’t have to work! It’s a nice long day, I wake up early just out of habit, eat a good breakfast and head out side and put up the flag. It’s a super positive day more than likely because everyone is very active. I am one who has to be on the water every 4th, the beach, a lake or by the pool as long as there is water. For lunch/dinner the food is usually cooked outdoors, some sort of BBQ, something from the garden and always more watermelon than you can eat. After a long day as the sun starts to go down everyone is looking nice and tan. And here is why I love this holiday, as you may want to wind down, the day is only getting ramped up! As you head back outside to see the fireworks you get your second wind, the night is young and the party is about to get started!

Remember the significance of the 4th of July. It’s Independence Day, the adoption of the Declaration of Independence (July 4th, 1776), declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain, now known as the United Kingdom. It is our country’s birthday so time to celebrate and enjoy the freedom to live the way we want. Especially today make sure you take advantage of your freedom and do at least one thing just for you!

Happy 4th Of July!!!
