Hermosa Añejo Tequila Ultra Premium 100% De Agave Tequila Simply Beautiful

Hermosa Ultra Premium Añejo The World’s Most Beautiful Tequila Review

Hearing a lot about Hermosa Tequila, I purchased a bottle of the Hermosa Añejo Tequila and again decided to add a review. I am a huge fan of reposado, but there is many times you want a longer finish that añejo tequila presents. I pulled out my fancy tequila glasses and opened the bottle, the aroma was incredible. I poured a few ounces in a glass and found the aroma growing wood, spice, vanilla… I swirled it and found long legs that slowly dripped down the side of the glass. I could wait no longer and took a few sips and was impressed with the balance of spice, wood and sweet. I know the 1414 NOM distillery and know they make some amazing blanco and silver tequilas, yet this añejo is right up there with the top añejo tequila brands I have tasted. The finish is sweet yet leaves your mouth salivating wanting more, it truly is a beautifully made tequila. This is at the top of my favorites in the añejo category and for under $60 retail it is well worth the money, very smooth, with a long finish 10/10.

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, Champagne 1.5 L

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, Champagne 1.5 L

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, Champagne Review

10/10 Crisp and clean with just the right hint of fruit.

Tasting Notes
The strength of this golden-yellow wine is immediately pleasing to the nose while its complexity explodes on the palate. The initial notes of fruit are followed by more discreet aromas of brioche and vanilla when the wine is allowed to age in the bottle. Brut Carte Jane offers a perfect balance of finesse and forcefulness.

2014 Hedges Family Estate Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon Review

2014 Hedges Family Estate Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon Review

2014 Hedges Family Estate Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon Review

9/10 – Savory yet very beautiful on the palate, a great buy!

Tasting Notes
Deep purple color, yet not opaque. A sense of finesse in the color which suggests liveliness on the palate. The mouth feel is angular, with grace and precision. The 2011 vintage produced a savory character in the wines, like that of fennel, salt, tar and steel. Highly integrated tannins, dusty in a sense, alongside protective acidity guarding against premature oxidation. This wine, like other Red Mountain AVA wines before, will develop beautifully for up to 25 or more years with proper cellaring. While a fine wine now with food, should develop well for drinking on its own as it slowly evolves.

10/10 – Fruit forward balanced wine with a hint of oak, great buy!

Tasting Notes
Enticing aromas of stone fruit and white blossoms lead to a rich, creamy palate of peaches, apricots, tangerine, Meyer lemon, baking spices and honey, balanced by mouth-watering acidity. A touch of oak on the lingering finish.
